Child & Adolescent Provisional Psychologist

Natalie is a registered provisional psychologist currently completing her Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families in a range of contexts including government and catholic schools, early intervention, family homes and research.

Natalie has an interest in and several years of experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability, as well as genetic disorders such as Down syndrome.

Natalie administers cognitive and educational assessments to assist with education planning. She enjoys working with individuals to develop and maintain adaptive functioning goals to assist with activities of daily living. She also uses a person-centred therapy style and draws on components of various evidence-based therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), strength-based and behavioural approaches to work with presenting concerns such as anxiety, emotion-regulation and social difficulties.

Natalie is a friendly and creative practitioner. She values collaborating with individuals, families and schools to tailor and adapt intervention and recommendations to the individual. She appreciates neurodiversity and is passionate about supporting those with extra special needs.

Natalie consults at the Niddrie clinic on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
